How is RNAse contamination in RNA based experiments prevented? @MadScientist: I still think your answer is very relevant, I could be getting degradation during the down-stream experiments as well. I was hoping that this question could be relatively general because I know a lot of different people have different processes to avoid RNAse contamination. |

Is exon order always preserved in splicing? When you say order do you mean something like Exon 1 - Exon 3 - Exon 2 - Exon 4? or do you mean events such as exon skipping? |
