Is the eyes' movement discrete? I assume the advantages of smooth pursuit and saccadic movement are that the image is continuous (so no information is lost) and that the angular speed is large, respectively, or am I oversimplifying? |

Why does the cold make us sick? Generally, I presume it is caused by a decrease the enzymes in the body's rate of activity, causing slowing of vital bodily functions like the immune system. There are probably a plethora of specifics to add to this. |
