revised E coli cotransformation efficiency
make the question more prone to get detailed answer on efficiency of co-transformation, and not so much on explanation on how to co-transform (by double selection)

comment E coli cotransformation efficiency
Thanks, Chris, but I was more wondering how high with efficiency (number of clones per ug DNA) you can get with co-transformation. For example for single electroporation the efficiency is around 1 × 10^10 cfu/μg so I would like to know what is the limit and whether it can be improved for co-transformation.

comment Efficiency of plasmid DNA isolation from frozen E. coli cell cultures
Thanks Chris. I tried it with 25ml cultures and I got great yields! I did not run them on a gel to check the quality of the DNA, but the sequencing results looked good!

comment Resources for interesting facts about biology
Well I think that jarlemag's answer is pretty good and important for the community. Too bad that others can't post other sources if they stumble upon them. I actually disagree that the answer will be opinion-based, as I would expect people to provide resources, not what they would consider to be "fun or important". If you have any suggestions how to change my question to reflect this, let me know.
