What are limiting factors for intron length? I don't know about the maximum length, but I suppose that for the minimal size, the mechanical properties of the DNA are the limiting factors. Under a certain size, DNA is simply too stiff to form the loops required during splicing. |

Bacterial chromatin binding data? I'm not sure I fully get your question. Prokaryotes do not have nucleosomes. |
