Using only two self-annealing oligos as both primers and template, you will just fill the in withouth amplification. The reaction will occurr even withouth thermal cycling, which renders the presence of thermocycler unuseful. Perhaps the worst experiment ever to do to test a thermocycler :-) Thanks @Alan Boyd for pointing it out. Btw, oligos are normally shipped lyophilized at room temperature in small tubes inside normal envelopes, ordering 2 or 4 will not affect shipping costs.

I edited my answer: you can do PCR with two oligo without any other DNA template. This is the simplest way I think.
