I agree that the DNA doesn't degrade per se, so in that sense half-life is the wrong word. What I meant was some temporal metric of its change from the original. If we look on one DNA, during replication it looses one half and a new one is attached. In that sense half of the DNA is no longer the same. So half of it has changed in one replication. After the second replication we will either with probability one half exchange the second old half, or the new one. I have calculated and on average it takes 3 divisions for the DNA to change.
