Are serotonin levels in humans affected by light? The second article looks really nice. Is there a place where I can take a look at it for free? |

Physiological indicators of happiness and well being Check out Wikipedia Article on serotonin. There are multiple serotonin receptors in the human brain, and mutations of those receptors are related to depression and suicide. As such, serotonin levels aren't really a metric of happiness. I would look at long term behavior as an indicator of happiness or depression |

Do humans have chemosensors for nutrients or chemicals? I'm interested in digestion - are there any chemicals or chemical imbalances that can be detected in food? |

Is territoriality only the domain of the male of a species? From personal observation: house sparrows "stake a claim" at a bird feeder, and both males and females chase away competitors |

Is there such thing as “half-life” of dopamine? If I understand correctly, the DAT cleans up extracellular and bound DA, and deposits it back within the neuron. As less and less extracellular DA is available, there's a higher chance that bound DA will be recovered. Is this correct? |

Is there such thing as “half-life” of dopamine? If I'm reading this correctly, then Dopamine is randomly extracted from receptors, right? |

Is there such thing as “half-life” of dopamine? Interesting. Does this mean that upon release, dopamine has 200ms to either bind to a receptor or be reabsorbed? |
