I'm a biologist. I'm about to finish my PhD in radiation biology. I do a lot of flow cytometry, histology, fluorescence microscopy and image segmentation. I regularly use Python for data analysis and to automate repetetive tasks. I have worked with PHP a lot in the past and have a little experience in R.
