comment What is Glucocytosis?
It is the term used in the Film at the point 14 minutes by the curly haired person. It is what he says.

comment Can we use Acetyl Phosphate instead of Acetyl CoA in TCA?
No, I am not asking if Acetyl group can enter TCA cycle directly. I am asking if Acetyl Phosphate can enter TCA cycle directly. So I am asking if citrate synthase can use acetyl phosphate as an alternative substrate. If no, why?

comment What are the tissues affected by thyroid hormone called?
@nico Your change suggests me that there is no general name for those tissues affected. I found this sentence: "There does not seem to be - - tissues not affected by thyroid hormone". So Cardiovascular system, Central Nervous system and Reproductive system are affected. - vivo.colostate.edu/hbooks/pathphys/endocrine/thyroid/…

comment Why glycoproteins are better than non-glycoproteins in fulfilling biological tasks?
@AlanBoyd I completely agree with you. The thing is that the teacher wants explanations why some thing is better than other. I however do not see any sense in it. It is like comparing bananas with apples.

comment Why does alcohol cause the hemolysis of RBC in a large proportion?
So the point 5 is about the proteins in the membrane that alcohol will modify.
