The heterozygous advantage generally lowers natural selection against the carriers of mutated alele, sounds a little weird. "Heterozygote advantage" refers to the situation where the heterozygote has a higher fitness than any homozygote. "Natural selection" refers to a differential in fitness between genotypes. Btw, allele takes two "l".
