Apr 21, 2017 at 7:31 comment added uhoh Junior high physics teacher was obsessive about units, taught us to look at the units before looking at the equation. Now it's just a reflex I must live with ;)

Apr 21, 2017 at 7:20 comment added uhoh I've just seen the "enhancements" here - will need a bit longer to read it all, but wow! In the mean time, I have this affliction that causes me to spot tiny errors without even looking - the units here should be inverse seconds: $k = 10^3~s$

Apr 18, 2017 at 18:46 comment added Tyto alba I'm sorry, not Calvin cycle, through photolysis.
Apr 18, 2017 at 18:26 comment added Tyto alba I would like to add CAM plants, they open their stomata only during the night, to absorb CO2. For the rest of the day it is closed. So the O2 produced through calvin cycle is not released during the day, does it release at night, is the question. I couldn't find much research on this, possibly not much has been done. I didn't check if the plants enlisted in OP's website are CAM. They might be. Interesting though. Researchgate has a discussion on this.
Apr 18, 2017 at 18:25 comment added uhoh And if you catch your breath, I've asked another photosynthesis question as well.
Apr 18, 2017 at 18:24 comment added uhoh Oh my goodness this is very helpful, thank you. I'll take some time to read through it. Is the $\ce{O2}$ released in milliseconds all the way to the air, or does it have to diffuse through some fluid first?
