Bilateral symmetry is a common feature of animals, and starfish have rotational/circular symmetry.

But is there any animal that has no symmetry?

  • $\begingroup$ Symmetry on what scale? Whole organism only? even animals (like some sponges) with no bilateral or radial symmetry in their larger body plan may still have some degree of symmetry in their histology. $\endgroup$ Commented May 23 at 16:56
