I've been using alphafold to generate some GPCRs from uniprot protein sequences (in the image is CCR2) but have noticed that there are these really long coils coming out of both the extra and intracellular domains. Do these proteins legitimately exist like this in nature or are these coils erroneous?

    $\begingroup$ Welcome to SE biology. It would help people to answer if you update your question to include some basic information; a uniprot ID for the CCR2 sequence you've used (or atleast the species), the meaning of the colours in your image, where the image came from. $\endgroup$
