What species is this bone from? It was found in my yard in North Central Texas.

For ID questions we would need a couple more photos from each side, but particularly from the top (that's the bit to the top right in this photo) and some sense of scale - how big is this? this allows a guess at whether it's from say a horse or a mouse. It's also pretty heavily degraded so ID may not be possible. $\endgroup$
