If a son has a baby with his mother, how would the child's family tree be arranged? would the child show that he is the mother's grandchild or son? Sound twisted I know, but I must ask...

  • Well... you just draw the appropriate line. For some famously crazy genealogy, you can have a look at the old british royal families – Remi.b Oct 13 at 17:24
  • The diagram would show that the child is both child and grandchild of the mother. There would be a path on the diagram from the child to its father and from that person to the mother, as well as a direct line from the child to its mother. – mgkrebbs Oct 13 at 18:33
