Chewing/clenching the jaw makes the jaw muscles (masseter) stronger, correct? Basically, yeah?

So if a muscle becomes bigger and stronger, it pulls on bone. The masseter is inserted from under the zygomatic arch to the ramus. So if the masseter is hypertrophied, will the muscle pull the bone and widen the ramus apart laterally from both sides (and thus increase bigonial breadth at the least)?

Basically can making the masseter big and strong make the actual mandible itself wider in humans?
