I’m using Axiovision on a Zeiss Axiocam to look at histology slides under brightfield. There is an unexplained pinkish image that keeps showing even with the light path closed. It’s there in the background, and if I open the ‘live’ window, image of the current specimen is overlaid on top. What could be wrong? Is this a camera sensor problem? Or a software problem? Is there a cache that didn’t clear properly? My specimens are H&E, so there is a lot of pink from eosin, so that’s why I’m guessing it’s an unfocused image that got somehow stuck in the software or camera memory. Any troubleshooting help will be much appreciated!
