It is claimed based on autopsies of starved humans/animals and cholesterol and dietary restriction studies in animals that atherosclerosis if cholesterol can be reversed to a degree, rather than just slowed down if there are very low levels of cholesterol. Does anybody know what blood levels need to be reached in animals and what the human equivalents would be?
