So I'm looking into lizard breeding (Mainly Leopard Geckos and Anoles)

I catch wild ones and also buy them around, but some of them are very close in size and length. I have some males that I know are male due to their enormous size (up to 8 inches) and very fat bodies (almost a centimeter) compared to some very small ones (less than 4 inches)

Are there anymore obvious genetic traces, features, characteristics or anything else that can help me identify them.

Also, looking under the skirt isn't very much of an easy task, considering their agility (Not to mention because of their size, it's not very easy to see anything down there)

If this belongs more on the pets site, please tell me
