I was doing research on Regalecidae, and I came across an online database. Here, on the database, there are 12 matches for Regalecus russelii. At the bottom of most of these pages, there is a related file, which shows the original record for each sighting. On these original records, it always lists the specimen as Regalecus glesne, not russelii. Why is this? What species are they really?
